$1,000.00
Early South Pacific Coast Railroad car switch key cut. Marked for the original railroad line between 1876-1887, a colorful narrow gauge railroad connecting Santa Cruz, San Jose and the Bay Area in California from 1876-1887 when the Southern Pacific Railroad assumed control. Although some equipment remained marked for the SPCRR, it is believed most key cuts were changed to Southern Pacific RR cuts when the road was standard gauged prior to 1906. This key is very very rare.
